Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician for a food distribution company in Warrington. This role could be long term for the right candidate.
Our Site Vehicle Maintenance Technicians are the people that help to keep our network running - they not only love to find solutions, but they ensure that everything we do enables us to deliver on our promises to our customers and exceed expectations whilst working together as one team and having some fun along the way!
Shift pattern:
- Monday to Friday
It is ideal if you are available for any of the below shifts with 12:00-21:30 being the main shift but it is NOT essential.
Based out of our Warrington Depot, we are looking for a qualified HGV Mechanic to carry out work on site. You will identify and advise supervisors of any additional work required. You will endeavour to reduce vehicle down time to a minimum and although not essential, it would be preferable if you have maintenance experience in a commercial capacity. Able to work alone using initiative or as an active member of the team, good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate and be comfortable using compliance software.
Requirements:
- HGV licence preferred but not essential
- Direct experience preferred, ideally experience within HGV/tail lift mechanics/engineering
- Flexible working
