Transport Coordinator| Belfast Based | Monday - Friday Permanent | 40 hrs per week £30,000 - £35,0000 depending on experience Leading Global provider of Logistics & Shipping Service is headquartered in Dublin with offices and logistics centres across the island of Ireland, United Kingdom, Mainland Europe and Asia (Belfast office) Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Proof of Delivery scanning. Preparation of Export Documentation and final manifests-including Dangerous Goods Notifications (DGNs) for onforwarding to shipping lines. Plan, direct and control all UK import activities on a day-to-day basis, including booking onto the Azyra freight system, obtaining all paperwork to meet customs requirements and ensure customers transit times are met. Maintain all files ensuring they are costed and invoiced prior to export, delivery or release. Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer collection / delivery requirements are met. Develop constructive relationships with key customers, understanding the clients' business and meeting their shipping needs. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of logistics documentation. Action other ad hoc duties as requested by manager. Salary: £30-35k depending on experience Minimum 12 months experience in groupage shipping transport environment is preferable. Good knowledge and experience of exports and customs procedures would be beneficial but not essential. Computer literate. Possess team player qualities.
