Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to support a busy client working on a number of high-end Christmas projects throughout October. The role will involve spraying and finishing bespoke items being produced for retail window displays and in-store activations.
Duties will include:
- Preparing products and surfaces ready for spraying
- Wet spraying bespoke joinery and display components
- Applying primers, paints, lacquers and finishes
- Mixing and preparing paints where required
- Sanding, filling and preparing surfaces
- Achieving a smooth, high-quality finish
- Carrying out touch-ups and finishing work
- Checking completed items for quality and consistency
- Working alongside joiners and the wider production team
- Keeping the spray area clean and organised
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous professional paint spraying experience
- Experience with wet spraying
- Good knowledge of surface preparation and finishing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to achieve consistently high-quality finishes
- Experience working within a workshop or production environment
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Previous experience spraying joinery, furniture, shopfitting components, exhibition pieces, retail displays or other bespoke products would be highly advantageous.
This role will involve working across a range of Christmas projects throughout October, so candidates with good availability across the month are encouraged to apply.
