The Role
We are looking for a Dispatch Administrator to join our client as part of their dynamic team; to coordinate and manage international road freight shipments across import and export operations. You'll ensure shipments are handled efficiently, meet all compliance requirements, and deliver excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, book, and monitor international shipments from start to finish
- Coordinate collections and deliveries with internal teams and external partners
- Prepare and process freight documentation (CMR, Bills of Lading, customs paperwork)
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide customer updates
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs, and EU regulations
- Manage PODs, shipment data, and support invoicing and cost control
- Arrange UK-EU movements, including GMRs and crossings
About You
- Experience in international road freight (import/export)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Good knowledge of freight documentation and customs processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
