Barker Ross are looking for reliable Goods In / Goods Out Operative to join our clients busy team. This role supports the movement of finished goods through the site. Your focus will be on Goods In, Goods Out, stock movement, and supporting the production area by ensuring finished products are moved safely and efficiently.
Available Shifts
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking finished goods.
- Clearing finished products from production lines.
- Replenishing production lines with empty pallets and packaging materials.
- Shrink wrapping, labelling, and palletising finished goods.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
- Preparing pallets for storage and dispatch.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards within a production-controlled environment.
- Following all Health & Safety, food safety, and site procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, Goods In / Goods Out, or logistics experience is preferred.
- PPT experience is advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
