The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the UK by developing relationships with:

  • Concrete frame contractors
  • Groundworks contractors
  • Tier 1 contractors
  • Civil engineering contractors
  • Distribution partners

You will identify project opportunities, convert enquiries into orders, and work closely with customers to provide commercial and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across the UK construction market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
  • Track and manage live project opportunities
  • Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Support quotation preparation and project pricing
  • Maintain CRM and sales pipeline records
  • Provide monthly forecasts and market intelligence

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

  • Experience in construction product sales, technical sales, or business development
  • Knowledge of reinforced concrete, civil engineering, or construction accessories
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Selling to contractors, distributors, or structural engineers
  • Specification sales experience
  • Existing industry contacts
  • Knowledge of reinforcement or concrete accessory products

Package
