Barker Ross are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Artic Drivers for a freight forwarding business operating by road, sea and air based in Stoke.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, starts between 6-7am. Average of 10 hour shifts.
- Average of 10 hour days
- Trailers are Curtainsiders both single and double deck
- Drivers on average deliver and collect around 10 drops a day
- Drops to East and West Midlands, North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as far north as Preston and over to Leeds, the furthest south is Coventry
- Drivers will need to strap the vehicle loads down
Qualification/Experience: At least 2 years on licence and 12 months experience. Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho. Driver must not have an IN10 or DR10 on licence and cannot exceed 6 points.
