A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freight Forwarder with import and export experience in road freight to join a small, friendly dynamic team in Glasgow. This is a full time, permanent role. The position is available due to company expansion, and this is set to continue.

The role would suit an individual who has previously worked as a Freight Forwarder or has experience with international transport and is looking to further develop their career within a transport related environment.

It is important that you can demonstrate an ability to build positive, professional relationships with a range of customers, quickly understand the commercial implications of maximising loads and ensure that goods are shipped with maximum efficiency and profitability.

It would be an advantage to have customs clearance experience. You will either presently work in the logistics sector and have a good understanding of the freight forwarding industry or possess recent qualifications to develop into this industry. The role would suit an enthusiastic, friendly personable individual with a positive can-do attitude and an ability to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in! You must be IT literate with previous experience in Microsoft Office.
