The Business
Our client is a well established and fast growing organisation operating within the self storage and commercial property sector. With multiple operational sites across the UK and continued expansion plans, they are recognised for delivering high standards across customer service, operational performance, and compliance.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Health and Safety professional to support and drive safety standards across the business. This opportunity is open to both experienced Health and Safety Managers and ambitious Health and Safety Officers who can clearly demonstrate the required technical capability, operational experience, and confidence to operate across a multi site environment.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the company's health, safety, and fire compliance standards across operational sites.
- Conducting site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple locations
- Managing and supporting fire risk assessment activity and corrective actions
- Supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
- Supporting a proactive and positive safety culture across the business
- Monitoring changes in legislation and ensuring compliance standards remain up to date
Minimum 3 years recent experience within a Health and Safety role, either at Manager or Officer level
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
NEBOSH Fire Certificate (Fire Safety and Fire Safety Management)
Proven experience conducting and managing fire risk assessments
Strong understanding of current UK health and safety legislation
Full UK driving licence
Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 depending on experience
