Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client’s team covering the North & East London area, including Tower Hamlets, Wood Green, and surrounding locations. This is a hands-on outdoor role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outside and take pride in maintaining public and green spaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Using hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectively
- Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard
- Travelling between local sites during the working day
- Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Valid UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening experience essential
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Must live within a commutable distance of North or East London
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
