Job Title: Bulk Operative with UK Driving Licence (Temp to Perm) Location: Derby, DE21 6AW Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Start Date: Wednesday 28 th October 2026 Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM DBS: Basic DBS required We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Bulk Operative in Derby. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent position offered to candidates who are suitable for the role. Key Responsibilities: Collect refuse and bulky waste items as part of a team. Drive as required to support waste collection duties. Assist with loading and unloading waste safely. Carry out cleaning duties as required. Maintain clean, tidy and safe working areas. Follow all health and safety procedures and instructions from the supervisor. Requirements: Full, valid UK driving licence is essential. Basic DBS check required. Safety boots must be worn. Good level of physical fitness. Willingness to carry out both waste collection and cleaning duties. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Previous experience in waste collection or cleaning is desirable but not essential.
