Barker Ross are recruiting experienced MIG Welders to join our client based in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing, full-time work in a stable workshop environment.
The role would suit a competent MIG Welder who has completed professional, college, or apprenticeship training and is confident working from engineering drawings.
Pay
£15.67 per hour
Overtime paid at £23.51 per hour
Working Hours
Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00
Friday: 08:00-16:30
The Role
- MIG welding mild steel from 1mm to 15mm
- Welding thin wall to thick wall sections
- Welding with and without jigs
- Producing water-tight welds
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Using hand and power tools
What We’re Looking For
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
- MIG welding stainless steel (training provided if required)
