Our Public Sector Client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire requires an experienced Administrator to support their Integrated Front Door Service, providing a wide range of business support to social workers and team managers, including RAM Panel, CVE/Missing, MARAC, MASH MACA's working alongside multi-agencies in a highly confidential and fast paced environment.

They are looking for an Administrator who is enthusiastic, motivated and can work independently and proactively as well as part of a team to provide day to day line management and continuous development of administrative staff. The successful post holder will be responsible for ensuring priorities and the needs of the service are met in providing a reliable administration and business support service to the teams and take a lead role in developing and maintaining consistent processes and procedures.

Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills are essential along with the ability to effectively manage a team. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you are fully aware of all aspects of data protection and confidentiality as you will be working in an environment dealing with extremely sensitive and emotive information on a daily basis including information relating to the abuse and injuries to children and young people.

This is a wide and varied role where no two days are the same and you will be expected to be able to react and respond to urgent requests. Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential along with the ability to work calmly under pressure. It is essential that you are an experienced and confident minute taker and are able to use a laptop to take minutes at multi-agency panel meetings. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role along with good organisational skills.

The position requires covering for colleagues within the service, working to tight deadlines as well as closely liaising with other departments across the Council and multi-agencies.

Working hours: 18.5hrs a week Monday to Tuesday 8.30-17.00 and Wednesday 08.30-12.00. Flexible working patterns will be considered within core hours.

An enhanced DBS check and clearance as well as Police vetting will be required for this post due to the team being based within a Policing environment.
