Job Description
My client based in Grantham is part of the largest foodservice provider in the UK and are proud to be part of the world's leading foodservice company.
We're also home to a family of well-known food businesses, and each one brings its own unique flavour to the table.
They require 6 warehouse operatives to join their busy team on a regular ongoing basis.
Shifts are 8 hours per day and include 2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am.
Warehouse Operative duties and responsibilities: The type of duties a Warehouse Operative has depends on the position but may involve a combination of receiving, picking, packing, wrapping and strapping, handling and shipping tasks.
Warehouse Operative daily tasks will include: Picking fresh food produce in line with daily targets Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedule Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods Treat goods with care and concern at all times Ad Hoc Warehouse Duties Your own transport is essential due to the location of site, please apply in writing to: Barker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
