Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Workshop Assembly Operative to join a well-established agricultural engineering company based in Corby. The Role
  • Assisting with the assembly of irrigation systems and farm machinery
  • Working on hose reels, including basic assembly and preparation
  • Supporting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and basic servicing of equipment
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery
  • Assisting engineers and technicians with general workshop duties
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the workshop
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We're Looking For
  • A practical, hands-on approach
  • Previous experience in a labouring, warehouse, or assembly role (advantageous but not essential)
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of tools and machinery
  • Desirable: Previous assembly or mechanical experience
  • Forklift licence or Tractor licence

Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00
Friday: 08:00-16:30
