We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy, supportive workshop environment.
Pay: £16.21/hr | Overtime: £24.31/hr
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
The Role:
- MIG welding mild steel (1mm - 15mm)
- Welding thin and thick sections, with or without jigs
- Producing strong, water-tight welds
- Reading and following engineering drawings
- Preparing materials and setting up equipment
- Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder
- Confident welding mild steel across varying thicknesses
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
