Experienced Bar Staff
New Opening in October
Location: Market Harborough
Pay: £12.71 to £14.00 per hour
Hours: Flexible, 20 to 35 hours per week
An exciting new cocktail bar is opening in Market Harborough in October, and we are looking for experienced bar staff to join the opening team. Applicants must have previous experience working behind a bar. Cocktail-making experience would be particularly welcome, with additional training provided on the venue's cocktail menu and service standards.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and serving cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Taking orders and processing customer payments
- Recommending drinks and explaining cocktail ingredients
- Preparing garnishes and setting up the bar before service
- Monitoring stock and replenishing bar supplies
- Keeping the bar, glassware and customer areas clean and presentable
- Following licensing, age-verification and responsible-service procedures
- Helping to create a lively, welcoming and professional atmosphere
Hours will be flexible, with between 20 and 35 hours per week available depending on your preference. Shifts will mainly be during the evenings and may continue until approximately 11.00pm, particularly on Fridays, Saturdays and other busy nights. Weekend work will be required, although flexibility can be shown when arranging the rota.
Pay starts at £12.71 per hour, with rates of up to £14.00 per hour for applicants with stronger cocktail and bar experience. We are looking for people who are confident, presentable, reliable and comfortable working in a busy customer-focused environment.
