Barker Ross is hiring an experienced team leader experience Manufacturing Assembly Operative in Falkirk. This is a physical role focused on building steel frames, requiring practical skills and experience using a range of tools. This is a long-term, full-time position with the potential to become permanent. Pay: £15.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Friday: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm 1-hour break Overtime available Duties: Hands-on assembly of steel frames and components Working as part of a team on the production line (up to 7 operatives, including a working chargehand) Using various power tools, including battery-operated tools, to assemble steel frames Reading and interpreting technical plans Accurately measuring materials using a tape measure Physically handling and moving products (6-12kg), either individually or with assistance Maintaining high standards of housekeeping Experience in team lead is essential, or vast experience in manufacturing assembly.
