Overview

Location: Northfleet; Contract: Full-time, Permanent; Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum; Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts, 05:00-17:00 and 17:00-05:00); Benefits: Pension scheme, 21 days holiday

About the Role

As a Shift Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work as part of a close-knit engineering team responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and infrastructure on site.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to breakdowns in a timely and safe manner to minimise production downtime.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and ensuring schedules are adhered to.
  • Working collaboratively with your opposite shift engineer to ensure thorough daily handovers and information sharing.
  • Supporting equipment upgrades, installations, and builds.

Strong mechanical and electrical experience.
