Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a experienced QA for a manufacturing and packaging company based in Heanor. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am-15.30pm which may change long term to 6am-2pm 30 minute lunch. Salary £13.41ph Duties To carry out ERH testing of finished products prior to them being packed off. Recording the results on the appropriate record sheets whilst reporting out of spec results to either or QA Team Leader, Technical Manager. Management of holds (finished product and packaging), reporting and release Management of material defects online, investigation and reporting RFT checks and line paperwork review. Management of concessions and reporting Daily Shift log to be updated with line info and holds. To assist the management of daily Taste panel and follow up actions as required. Monthly CCP Audits and management of CCP/QCP failures or deviations with production and undertake follow up actions as required to minimise impact Weights, Scales and thermometer checks and calibration To ensure that raw materials are checked upon delivery, prior to release into production for use, management of COA and COC. Management of Supplier Non-Conformances including sample review, sending, and logging responses Complaint investigations Inspect and sign off Engineering works.
