Our client is the UK's leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business based in Aberdeen and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Depot Operative with FLT to join their team as soon as possible. The role will be temporary lasting until April 2025 initially, working full time hours Monday to Friday 37 hours per week with a pay rate of £19.95 per hour. Please note to be considered for the role, you must hold a valid external counterbalance forklift licence and also have your own transport and full UK driving licence to drive to other sites and attend training courses. Duties of the role will include:- · Supporting depot operations within a small team of operatives at our Aberdeen cement depot · Loading and despatching powder cement in both bags and bulk form · Offloading product from trains into the site's bulk silos and packed cement store · Responsible for stock reconciliation and general operations relating to all depot functions · Some requirements to fulfil office duties associated with running the depot so some experience in this area would be preferred We are looking for someone who has worked previously within an industrial environment, holds a valid external counterbalance forklift licence, as well as a full UK driving licence with own transport.
