Liability Claims Negotiator
Barker Munro Recruitment has a great opportunity to work for a leading Insurance organisation as a Liability Claims Negotiator. You’ll manage a portfolio of Employers, Public, Property Owners, and Products Liability claims from first notification to settlement, ensuring regulatory and company standards are met. Most cases handled will be EL/PL related injury cases and TPPD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle liability claims up to £100,000 (and higher) from start to finish
- Investigate, assess, and negotiate settlements
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity
- Ensure a customer-focused approach
- Identify potential fraud and elevate when needed
- Support team performance by meeting SLAs
- Suggest process improvements and support audits
About You:
- Experienced in EL/PL related injury claims and liability principles
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Progress towards CII/ACII or similar qualification preferred
- Good legal and insurance knowledge
You will be rewarded with hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, option to purchase more leave, Pension plus a generous list of other benefits.
