Barker Munro Recruitment have an interesting new role within a specialist insurer who are seeking candidates with some insurance experience within either underwriting or broking team who is looking to further their insurance career.
The role is varied and involves supporting both the insurance and our data teams. A large part of this role is to underwrite niche property related insurance cases that arise from their online system. Training will be provided to insurance experienced candidates.

The insurance is related to properties which are either continued use in nature or, properties which have planning permission for new construction or a change of use. Cases largely fall within a sum insured of £10 million but the team can write within larger limits - subject to authorisation from the Underwriting Team.
