Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a respected insurance business seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join their established team in Orpington. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial or corporate broking experience—or an insurer background—who wants long term career progression within a supportive, high performing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Executives with renewals and new business
- Negotiate terms with insurers and produce client documentation
- Manage MTAs, queries, amendments and day‑to‑day client needs
- Attend client meetings and maintain accurate records
- Build strong relationships with clients, prospects and insurers
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
- Ensure compliance with FCA requirements
- Work hybrid after training (3 days in office)
