Claims Technician
Remote
£30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
Barker Munro Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for this REMOTE working opportunity for one of our valued clients. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join a respected Loss adjuster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong client focus and an interest in developing their expertise in claims management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide claims handling support to adjusters, following instructions from the claim owner.
- Liaise with experts, insurers, and policyholders to gather information
- Manage adjusters’ diaries and mailboxes as needed
- Occasionally handle a small caseload under supervision
- Stay updated on technical / legal changes and regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience
- Claims handling experience in insurance or loss adjusting (commercial insurance preferred but open to personal lines)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail, well-organised, and proactive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
