Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a boutique insurance broker seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their growing team. A small but highly successful broker offering a great alternative to the large corporate environment.
This position will see you managing a £450,000 income book of business, with a strong focus on client servicing and retention. You’ll build lasting relationships, deliver renewal strategies, and identify opportunities to grow accounts. You’ll also be supported by a dedicated Account Handler. Product exposure is varied and will include Financial lines, Construction, Property and Commercial Combined.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years’ commercial insurance experience
- Strong client servicing and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to retain and develop existing business
- Knowledge across core commercial products
- Proactive, organised, and detail-focused
- Acturis (desirable) | Cert CII (preferred)
This role requires you to work in the office for 3 days a week and the other 2 days are likely to be spent with your clients. This is a supportive and friendly boutique environment, within a company which has an impressive history.
