Barker Munro recruitment has a new vacancy for an experienced Credit Hire Claims Handler to join an expanding claims management firm.
Within this role, you will:
- Review case history on file assignments.
- Liaise with other departments as required to establish liability for the accident.
- Investigate the validity of third-party claims.
- Manage all aspects of third-party vehicle damage and property damage claims presented by third parties directly or via solicitors, insurers, or accident management companies.
- Offer intervention services to non-fault third parties where appropriate.
- Handle all aspects of credit hire claims as a Non ABI GTA Insurer.
- Assess cases for prospects of success at litigation.
- Spot insurer, handling agent, and defendant solicitors’ trends and tactics to assist in the department.
- Provide excellent customer service.
To be suitable for this role, we expect you will have:
- About 3 years of credit hire claims handling experience.
- Knowledge of the ABI GTA and how to deal with credit hire claims outside of the GTA guidelines.
