Account Executive
Barker Munro recruitment, one of Kent’s premier Insurance recruitment agencies, is delighted to be working with this major player in the UK insurance broker market and who has an exciting vacancy in their Kent office for an Account Executive.
The role of Account Executive will be predominantly servicing an existing book of clients but with the remit to build on this and develop other new relationships with clients in order to grow the book. There will be no scary new business targets initially but if you are someone that likes to generate new business and new clients in an organic way you will be incentivised and rewarded with growth on your account.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients.
- Identifying, and agreeing strategies for, clients’ risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives.
- Producing budget proposals and negotiating fees.
- Hosting client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams.
We are seeking either an experienced Account Handler looking to step into the Executive world or someone with some experience in the Executive world, but now looking to partner with an established broker who will coach and develop them. The role will sit within the UK commercial insurance space, therefore, ideally, some experience in the UK commercial insurance world would be required. You will enjoy building on existing relationships with a broad spectrum of clients to ensure renewal rates are high.
