We are actively recruiting for Building Surveyors at Apprentice level who are looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. Subject to business requirements, the role may be eligible for hybrid working.
As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the delivery of building surveying services for a range of projects.
- Assisting with building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients.
- Assisting with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting/raising of JCT construction contracts.
- Taking part in and attending pre-contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team.
- Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.
- Inputting fee projections for financial profiling across various projects.
- Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.
- Travelling to sites and client locations as required.
This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Holiday: 25 days (pro-rata’d) plus bank holidays.
