We are actively recruiting for Project Surveyors at various levels (Graduate to Chartered) who are looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at one of our four offices: Braintree, London, Cambridge or Birmingham. Subject to business requirements, the role may be eligible for hybrid working.
As a Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting and/or delivering building surveying services for a range of projects. You will provide technical expertise, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include (dependent on experience):
- Assisting with/Conducting building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients.
- Collecting, developing and analysing data to enable informed decision making.
- Supporting the preparation of tender documentation β including drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.
- Making agreements on timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver projects and working effectively with stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
- Creating detailed project implementation plans to guide clients and team members, providing feedback based on any changes in the clients' needs and/or requirements (senior).
- Assisting with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting of JCT construction contracts.
- Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders.
- Taking part in/Organising and attending pre-contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team.
- Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.
- Managing fee projections for financial profiling across various projects.
- Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.
- Travelling to sites and client locations as required.
A relevant degree or strong working experience is required, along with experience working with AutoCAD. Candidates should be working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership, with MRICS Chartered being desirable.
This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Holiday: 25 days (pro-rataβd) plus bank holidays.
