Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering us to help progress your career. We Do Growth. BARK is the official Global Performance Marketing Agency of the Year, delivering smarter paid media solutions for global ecommerce brands. BARK sits as part of Consumed Group, which also owns one of the most globally recognised creative partners to consumer ecommerce brands, Aura Ads, and acts as performance marketing sister company to Aura.
As a group, our integrated approach to performance marketing combines three essential capabilities - smart strategy, brilliant creative and advanced data science - across all major search and social platforms. This unique model helps leading ecommerce brands think differently, grow faster, and build lasting brand value. Successful performance marketing requires excellence across all three areas. We are the only independent UK agency that Meta has certified as being best-in-class at all three.
Our vision is for BARK, and the wider Consumed Group, to be a vehicle for our team to achieve what they want to achieve: personal & professional. We will support them (you!) in whatever that might be and recognise that it's our job as an employer to give our team every opportunity to make their goals a reality. We want to continue building an amazing place to work. A place where you can be yourself, do your best, and ultimately grow as both a person and a colleague. We do this through a supportive culture, flexible working, perks and continuous commitment to learning and development.
Part of becoming a great place to work is that we're committed to including people of all backgrounds and experiences. That includes race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, age, political affiliation, family or parental status. We want to hear from you!
Over the past seven years, we've grown in size and reputation extremely quickly by hiring talented people who truly care about getting results for the businesses we partner with, then providing them with the tools, support and training they need to excel. We're a fast growing team of 50+ that packs a punch, currently on pace to grow +30% again within the next 12 months. We're looking for someone who wants to join a quickly growing, well organised people-first business at an incredibly exciting and pivotal time of growth, whilst accelerating their own career. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast growing company - without all the pitfalls of typical 'startups' - and personally impact the growth of businesses that are making a real difference.
OUR CLIENTS
99% of our clients are direct to consumer eCommerce brands and typically fall somewhere into the below categories:
- FMCG
- Plants, greetings & misc. gifts
- Sports & fitness
- Subscriptions
Many are leading global brands. Some are bootstrapped, founder owned & run. They all trust us to lead their growth. Importantly, we ensure every client we sign is thoroughly vetted before we even offer to take them on. It's important to us to grow the right way, with clients who we genuinely want to work with.
OUR CLIENT SELECTION CRITERIA
- They've got to pass the "lunch test". Theyâve got to be genuine, friendly people to work with. Would we want to hang out or go and have lunch with them? Great relationships breed great work, and we want to give you a supportive environment to work and grow in, not clients who are unreasonable.
- They've got to have a product(s) and brand we can get excited about as a team. Nothing worse than working on a brand you don't believe in.
- They've got to want to be led and challenged creatively. We partner with businesses to help them think differently, grow faster, and build lasting brand value.
Just some of our clients (Paid Social, Google Search, Creative, Data Science): Antler, Smalls, HelloFresh, My Sunday Ski, Pom Pom London...amongst others.
OUR TEAM
We've gone against the typical agency model and hired an extremely senior team first. Logic being, it's important to build a firm foundation: be in a position to actually provide a great service to clients, and provide consistent upâskilling opportunities to the wider team as we grow.
Growth Team All incredibly strong on data, communication, creative and DTC strategy. As a team, they ensure our clients' advertising is profitable and efficient as well as leading creative strategy and briefs to drive growth. They have a huge amount of freedom to advise the clients on what they should be doing, and have our full backing.
Data Team Answering the hard questions and problems that can unlock the next leg of growth for our client partners.
Creative Team (via Aura Ads) A rapidly growing team designing and delivering performance creative that drives results. Currently, we offer strategy, full highâend production, lowâfi influencer or user generated content (UGC), and a full asset repurposing service combining a mix of photography, videography, motion graphics, copywriting and much more. Each of our team members is empowered to be a crossâchannel specialist. Everyone works and communicates closely with each other at all levels of the business.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Paid Strategy Executive (Performance Marketing) to join us who is excited about taking on a new challenge and growing with us as a business. Day to day, you will be a part of the full client lifecycle: everything from onboarding new clients, to supporting and, in some cases, leading in ad accounts (Google & Meta), and growing our clients' businesses for the long term through effective paid & creative strategy, account analysis and handsâon inâplatform build & optimisation.
You must be extremely switched on, commercial, ambitious, have a positive attitude and a desire to learn new things, as well as the ability to pick yourself up after making mistakes. Ideally you should have at least 2-4 years' experience in performance marketing or an eCommerce focused role, either agency or client side, whether that is Paid Social or Google PPC.
We have regular company socials, hangouts, events and meetups, with a real focus on maintaining our company culture. If you're enthused by being surrounded by a fun, high performing team, doing some of the best work of their career, who challenge and bring out the best in each other, we want to hear from you!
