Job Summary
There is an Analyst level position available for this team. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance, management and use of the private investment platforms. The ideal candidates will have knowledge of accounting platforms within our industry along with a broad accounting expertise. Our teams consist of highly skilled agile individuals who are expected to provide accurate, timely, and efficient services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the AUM, quarterly close and year end processes
- Coordinate and assist the testing for legacy systems along with new systems
- Manage and monitor the timing and quality of reports requested
- Implementation of fund structures on private platforms
- Identify specific business requirements and formulate automated solutions
- Proactively communicate and coordinate with various internal groups
- Maintain and enhance training materials and process documentations for private platforms
- Train new and existing users
- Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with IT
- Monitor and maintain the general ledgers for the private platforms
- Private platforms subject matter expert
- Quick problem solving when troubleshooting issues within platforms and/or data feeds
- Support Treasury team requests
- Ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or fund administrator preferred)
- Experience in preparing general ledgers and financial statements
- Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word essential, Investran, eFront and Aladdin experience is a plus
