Barings' Global Public Portfolio Services team seeks a motivated individual to join our innovative team of financial professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in holdings, terms, and transactions of multiple portfolios to provide proactive oversight, specializing in CLOs.
- Provide regular support to the investment team and clients.
- Coordinate with Portfolio Management and Legal teams for reporting questions.
- Oversee portfolio activity reconciliation with Service Providers.
- Manage Indenture compliance, including reconciliation reviews, quarterly distributions, investor reports, and hypothetical trade analysis.
- Respond to ad hoc information requests from clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert on the portfolios.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators and internal teams to ensure high service levels.
- Stay informed about CLO industry, client mandates, and regulatory restrictions.
- Prepare portfolio reports as needed.
Systems and Process Improvement
- Enhance procedures and document manual processes.
- Participate in system projects and testing.
- Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and procedures, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with Aladdin and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, motivated, team player.
