Job Summary

This role will support the delivery of UK & EMEA marketing plans and regional activation of global campaigns across Barings’ priority capabilities. Working closely with marketing, sales, compliance and investment stakeholders, the Senior Associate will help coordinate campaigns, events, content distribution, reporting and day-to-day marketing operations. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and a practical, proactive approach to keeping activity moving efficiently, accurately and in line with compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Regional marketing plans: Support the Head of UK & EMEA Marketing in building and delivering regional plans aligned to sales priorities and target audiences, including institutional and wealth. Coordinate timelines, inputs and approvals across stakeholders to help keep plans actionable and on schedule.
  • Global campaign plans: Support roll-out plans for global campaigns in line with firm priorities. Help localise messaging and assets where needed, and coordinate activation across channels in partnership with the media and events teams.
  • Owned channels and email marketing: Build and distribute emails and nurture campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Manage lists, segmentation and audience targeting in partnership with sales. Coordinate campaign landing page updates and ensure user journeys support priority products and follow-up activity.
  • Content and distribution: Coordinate distribution of Barings perspectives across regional channels and third-party platforms. Manage Barings content hubs with paid media partners across EMEA, tailoring content to the audience and optimising for engagement.
  • Compliance: Work closely with compliance to ensure all materials, advertorials, social copy and partner content include required disclosures and adhere to firm and regulatory guidelines. Ensure best practice is followed across the region.
  • Budget administration: Support Salesforce campaign set-up for budget approvals, track spend against plan, process invoices and maintain accurate budget records.
  • Cross-functional support: Support workflows with central marketing teams, including design, digital and social, to help produce campaign assets across channels.
  • Events and sponsorship activation: Provide coordination and project support for sponsored events across UK & EMEA, targeting institutional and wealth audiences. Help manage activation plans, speaking and branding deliverables, and post-event follow-up.
  • Barings-hosted events: Support planning and execution of Barings hosted events including breakfast series and half day events across Europe.
  • Measurement and reporting: Support consistent tracking of campaign activity and outcomes in Salesforce. Coordinate with the Head of Marketing Attribution to help prepare reporting dashboards and summaries, including email performance, event attendance, content engagement and partner results.
  • Stakeholder management and team support: Build strong working relationships with sales, investment teams (PMs/CPMs), corporate marketing and regional colleagues. Provide proactive support to keep priorities moving and contribute to continuous improvement across processes, templates and ways of working.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years’ marketing experience within financial services, ideally asset management or another regulated investment environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, ideally in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, digital, social, media and events.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, approvals, actions and deadlines across multiple workstreams.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM, email marketing or marketing automation tools, ideally Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Comfortable working with compliance processes, including coordinating reviews, tracking approvals and incorporating required disclosures accurately.
  • Experience supporting events or sponsorship activity, including planning logistics, coordinating deliverables, supporting activation and assisting with post-event follow-up.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to wealth marketing or intermediary audiences, including wealth managers, private banks, advisers or European fund selectors.
  • Experience supporting activity across multiple European markets, including localisation, translation workflows or adapting materials for local market needs.
  • Exposure to paid media partnerships, sponsored content or third-party content distribution platforms.
