Our Data, AI, Solutions & Engineering (DAISE) practice are looking for an experienced Data & AI Delivery Lead in Life Sciences & Health to act as the interlock between DAISE and the Life Sciences & Health industry sector at Baringa. In DAISE, we focus on delivering value-adding, sustainable data and AI capabilities aligned to our clients’ needs.

This senior role will sit within DAISE and work closely with Baringa’s Life Sciences & Health industry teams, helping sectors translate market priorities into data, analytics and AI opportunities, build senior client relationships, shape pipelines across key accounts, and lead the successful delivery of DAISE engagements.

What you will be doing

  • You’ll own the delivery of large-scale data and AI programmes within Life Sciences & Health, bringing together multidisciplinary DAISE teams across data strategy, analytics, AI, engineering, architecture, governance and industry SMEs to deliver work that creates meaningful, lasting outcomes for our clients.
  • You’ll be accountable for growing and delivering DAISE’s Data and AI services within Life Sciences & Health, working with sector GTM and account teams to build pipeline, shape opportunities and deliver high-quality client engagements.
  • You’ll provide commercial leadership across Life Sciences & Health, owning proposals, statements of work, delivery commercials and team shaping, while working with industry teams to originate, qualify and build a strong pipeline of DAISE opportunities.
  • You’ll act as the day-to-day interlock between DAISE and Life Sciences & Health teams, connecting sector ambition with DAISE capability and shaping expertise in both directions.
  • You’ll help embed data, analytics and AI thinking into sector priorities, propositions and client conversations, while bringing market insight, client needs and delivery learnings back into DAISE to strengthen our services, assets and future propositions.
  • You’ll build trusted relationships with senior clients across Life Sciences & Health and within Baringa, raising DAISE’s profile through sector conversations, client engagement, client events and industry conferences, and shaping data and AI opportunities that respond to market priorities and create measurable client value.
  • You’ll help develop sector-specific data and AI propositions, products and reusable assets that respond to market needs and strengthen how DAISE goes to market in Life Sciences & Health.

Your skills and experience

  • You’ll have led or supported delivery of data and AI engagements that improve patient, citizen, clinical, scientific or operational outcomes, such as population health analytics, medicines optimisation, clinical and operational data platforms, interoperability and data standards, AI assurance and clinical safety, research and real-world evidence, service capacity planning, or digital health transformation across health, care, life sciences or pharma organisations.
  • You’ll bring 9+ years of consulting experience in Life Sciences & Health, with the credibility to build long-term, trusted relationships with senior clients up to and including C-suite level, and the ability to align senior clients, sector leaders, account teams and multidisciplinary delivery teams around a shared agenda.
  • You’ll bring experience leading large team sizes through complex data and AI programmes, with clear ownership of delivery quality, governance, risk management, team performance and client outcomes.
  • You’ll be a lifelong learner, able to demonstrate a clear drive to keep developing your skills and stay current in a fast-moving AI landscape.
  • You’ll be passionate, entrepreneurial and excited by how data can solve complex client problems.
  • You’ll lead from the front and role model the behaviours you expect from our team, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues as they develop their careers.
  • You’ll have a track record of account growth, sales support, opportunity shaping and programme delivery, with strong commercial acumen across propositions, team shaping, delivery risks, margin and client value.
  • You’ll have deep expertise across data, analytics and AI strategy, including operating models, governance, data management, business adoption and value realisation.
  • You’ll also bring a broad understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies and AI‑enabled business transformation, and be able to explain how these capabilities create value in an industry context.
  • You’ll work with clients to understand and frame their business problems, assess their current state, and identify, shape and deliver data, analytics and AI use cases from strategy through implementation.
  • You’ll balance business value, technical feasibility and delivery complexity, making practical recommendations that help shape clients’ thinking.

  • You may have a recognised profile in Life Sciences & Health, with experience building market presence through client networks, industry events, publications, partnerships or thought leadership.
