Our Clients and Marketing team are looking for an experienced Marketing Business Partner to join them.

About the sector: Baringa’s Products & Services (P&S) consulting business is a cross industry sector bringing together clients that share similar commercial models, operating challenges, and value chains, even though they sit in different industries. The sector exists explicitly to capture synergies across industries where boundaries are increasingly blurred (e.g. tech companies becoming retailers, pharma moving into consumer health, telcos operating retail models).

Marketing has a role to play by helping the business select key industry issues that will fuel growth and create, develop and launch a sequence of campaigns to build awareness and recommendation – and of course business development meetings and sales among senior P&S client audiences in all its geographies (currently UK and US).

What you will be doing:

  • Partnering with the Clients & Marketing Exec Sponsor and sector leadership teams to shape and deliver strategic marketing plans that advance sector priorities and drive measurable commercial impact.
  • Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of campaign and event programmes, ensuring high‑quality execution and measurable commercial impact.
  • Building a strong understanding of client challenges, market trends, competitor activity, and Baringa’s sector capabilities to refine messaging, targeting, and segmentation.
  • Managing the in‑sector marketing team (where applicable), providing coaching, development, and day‑to‑day support.
  • Championing consistency, collaboration, and efficiency across sectors by working closely with fellow BPs and the wider Clients & Marketing team.
  • Leading the creation of compelling messaging and visuals that clearly differentiate Baringa in the market.
  • Leveraging thought leadership, client success stories, and insight‑driven narratives to deliver standout campaigns and assets.
  • Owning the sector marketing budget, ensuring responsible management, cost control, and ongoing value‑for‑money improvements.
  • Bringing the sector strategy to life across the business—building alignment, energy, and advocacy for campaign activity.

Your Skills And Experience:

  • Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales; use of the full multichannel mix.
  • Strategic marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in management consulting sector.
  • Expert relationship building and network creation – internally and with external parties.
  • Ability to work across all levels with impact, effectiveness and influence.
  • Proactive in pre-empting, identifying, resolving and escalating issues.
  • Self‑sufficient, self‑starter.
  • Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Ideally CIM Diploma‑qualified or equivalent.
