Our Global Consulting Operations

Our Global Consulting Operations team are looking for an experienced Operations Business Analyst to join the team. The purpose of our Corporate Team is to help the business grow and make our peoples' lives easier. To do this we provide business capabilities and services across Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Marketing and Operations. Baringa prides itself on a high degree of partnership and collaboration across our Consulting and Corporate teams. Corporate is seen as an integral part of the business.

For our consultants who spend a lot of time working away from home and in different countries, we represent an important degree of expertise, constancy, and support. Baringa is at a key inflexion point in its journey from being a small, intimate business with high degrees of entrepreneurialism and individual independence, to being a bigger, international business which needs more consistency and infrastructure - but not too much. We don't want to lose our pioneering, start-up-style adaptability and flexibility, but at the same time, we want to operate with more consistency and predictability. Corporate is at the heart of navigating this change and it's a demanding challenge.

What you will be doing

  • Transformation, Planning and Project Delivery Support: Provide hands on coordination for transformation, operational improvement, and planning initiatives, ensuring workstreams are well organised and making progress. Maintain core project artefacts including plans, RAID logs, trackers and decision logs, keeping information accurate, accessible and up to date. Support project meetings and working groups by preparing agendas, taking notes, capturing actions, and following up to maintain momentum. Contribute to the preparation of materials and documentation for senior stakeholders, project teams and leadership forums. Support planning cycles and maintain visibility of key milestones, priorities, interdependencies and operational issues across the wider portfolio. Work closely with corporate functions such as HR, Finance, Legal and Compliance to coordinate inputs, progress actions and align on risks or dependencies. Identify risks, issues or blockers early, escalating to the Consulting Operations Manager and tracking them through to resolution.
  • Business Expansion and Market Entry Support: Support the delivery of entity expansion projects under the organisation's Market Entry Framework, coordinating activity across corporate functions and business stakeholders. Assist with quality assurance of Market Entry documentation, checking completeness, accuracy and alignment with Framework requirements. Track progress across market entry workstreams, maintaining visibility of milestones, open actions and key dependencies. Work with relevant corporate teams on queries or requirements that arise during expansion activity, ensuring alignment and timely follow up. Support engagement with third party advisors such as legal providers, managing queries and tracking responses. Escalate non compliance, material risks or delays promptly and clearly to the Consulting Operations Manager.
  • Business Improvement Initiatives: Support the identification and mapping of opportunities to improve how the organisation operates across the Consulting Operations portfolio. Contribute to developing recommendations and proposals for change, working with relevant teams to refine and validate solutions. Coordinate the rollout of improvement initiatives, tracking progress and supporting engagement and adoption across teams and geographies. Work with corporate functions to resolve operational issues identified through improvement activity or raised by international teams. Help build and maintain standard operating procedures, templates, tools and guidance materials that enable consistency and effectiveness.
