The team designs and delivers future‑ready people solutions across reward, benefits, wellbeing, people operations, systems, and policy, ensuring our colleagues are supported to do their best work wherever they are in the world.

What you will be doing

  • You will define and deliver Baringa’s global benefits strategy, ensuring benefits are competitive, compliant, cost effective, and aligned to the firm’s Employee Value Proposition.
  • You will own global benefit design, benchmarking, and investment decisions, using market insight and data to balance employee experience, risk, and commercial outcomes.
  • You will lead end‑to‑end global insurance renewals (including medical, risk, and travel benefits), developing clear, evidence‑based recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • You will act as the owner of broker and provider relationships, leading negotiations, managing performance, and escalating issues where required.
  • You will own the global benefits operating model, ensuring processes are scalable, efficient, and consistently applied across countries.
  • You will own the long‑term benefits systems roadmap, including Workday and connected tools.
  • You will ensure strong financial governance across benefits, including budget management, forecasting, invoice control, and audit readiness.
  • You will set and sign off the global benefits communications strategy, ensuring high‑impact communications are clear, consistent, and aligned to key employee lifecycle moments.
  • You will design and lead Wellbeing Weeks and key wellbeing initiatives across the organisation, partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver high‑impact, inclusive programmes.
  • You will lead, coach, and develop the Global Benefits Team.
  • You will act as the senior benefits partner to People, Finance, Payroll, HR Operations, and Business Enablement leadership, influencing decisions through trusted relationships and data‑led insight.
  • You will represent global benefits at leadership forums, providing clear advice, effective challenge, and recommendations aligned to Baringa’s values and strategy.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience owning global or multi‑country benefits programmes.
  • Systems experience, ideally experience using Workday Benefits Portal / experience in integrating new benefit technology systems.
  • Proven delivery of end‑to‑end benefit renewals, including benchmarking, financial analysis, and senior‑level recommendations.
  • Strong commercial capability, with experience negotiating with brokers and providers and managing ongoing vendor performance.
  • A track record of driving operational excellence, including process improvement, controls, audits, and risk management.
  • Experience in FlexBens offerings bearing in mind global nuances.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience.
  • Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing through insight and judgement.
  • Proficient and experienced in regularly creating and presenting via software such as PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical and financial detail into clear employee messaging and exec‑ready decision papers.
