Our Clients and Marketing team are looking for an experienced Senior Content and Design Marketing Advisor to join them. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive marketing professional to support the effective coordination of content and design activity across the Clients & Marketing function. This role will be in the engine room for Baringa’s marketing, acting as a central point of coordination and organisation, ensuring that work is well-managed, aligned, and delivered efficiently, with clear processes and consistent quality.

What you will be doing

  • Own and maintain visibility of the central content and design calendar, ensuring alignment across brand, sector, capability, and PR activity.
  • Coordinate the flow of marketing work, supporting prioritisation, sequencing, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify duplication, gaps, or bottlenecks in activity and proactively flag risks or resourcing challenges.
  • Monitor workloads and flagging bottlenecks or resourcing needs.
  • Help maintain and uphold brand consistency across all marketing assets.
  • Support in delivery of events, newsletters and social media activation and other content where needed – particularly for capabilities marketing.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for our design agency, managing strategic briefs, supporting overall workflow, timelines, and ensuring consistent output tracking.
  • Work with wider team to ensure all requests to the agency are well-scoped, prioritised, and aligned to agreed plans.
  • Monitor agency utilisation and help optimise how design resource is deployed.
  • Conduct quality control checks, where needed, to ensure outputs meet brand standards and brief requirements.
  • Provide a “final sense check” on content and design outputs before publication.
  • Support the ongoing embedding of brand guidelines and best practice.
  • Provide coordination support for key marketing initiatives, campaigns, and internal priorities particularly in cross-sector.
  • Support delivery of shared marketing touchpoints (e.g. office screens, internal channels, and flagship initiatives such as Lighthouse).
  • Acting as a central point of contact for our marketing-wide campaign briefing process.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in marketing coordination, content operations, or design workflow management.
  • Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales.
  • At least 5 years of marketing operations experience in a B2B environment.
  • 3 years of experience in Professional Services or highly matrixed organisation is highly desirable.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Expert relationship building and network creation – internally and with external parties.
  • Confident working with creative teams and agencies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Self-sufficient, self-starter.
  • Proactive in pre-empting, identifying, resolving and escalating issues.
  • Good team player, works collaboratively to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
