Our Government practice are looking for an experienced Consultant to join our Transport team.
What you will be doing
- Helping regulators and industry unlock the benefits of emerging aviation technologies while maintaining the highest standards of safety and public trust.
- Designing and delivering programmes that enable drones, Advanced Air Mobility, digital airspace services, and other Future of Flight capabilities.
- Shaping regulatory and policy frameworks that support innovation, growth, and safe integration into UK airspace.
- Supporting clients to solve complex strategic, technological, and organisational challenges in rapidly evolving environments.
- Applying data, analytics, AI, and digital technologies to improve decision-making, safety, and operational performance.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, regulators, industry, and technology providers.
Your skills and experience
- Direct experience working with the UK aviation sector (e.g. CAA, DfT, NATS, airports, airlines, aerospace organisations, drone operators, or aviation-focused consultancy).
- Interest in shaping the future of UK aviation through work on drones, eVTOL/AAM, airspace modernisation, digital aviation services, and next-generation aircraft.
- Understanding of the UK aviation ecosystem, including the roles of the CAA, DfT, air navigation service providers, airports, airlines, manufacturers, operators, regulations/standards.
- Knowledge of aviation regulation, safety assurance, certification, or policy development.
- Experience working with operational, technical, regulatory, policy, or commercial stakeholders.
- Experience working on regulatory, policy, innovation, or technology-enabled transformation in a public sector or regulated environment.
- Ability to bridge technical, operational, and policy perspectives to support the safe adoption of emerging aviation technologies.
