Our Supply Chain practice are looking for an experienced Consultants or Senior Consultants to join the team. Our Supply Chain team partners with some of the most influential public and private sector organisations globally, tackling their toughest strategic supply chain challenges, working across sectors such as energy, utilities, government and products and services. We’re entering a critical time for global supply chains, with headwinds such as cost inflation, geopolitical uncertainty and climate change creating volatility and disruption like never before. Our clients need us to help them interpret those headwinds, help them manage complexity and critically ensure that their supply chain is continuing to be a cost-efficient and efficient growth enabler for their business. We’ve worked on some of the most exciting global supply chain projects including managing a multi-billion-pound logistics outsourcing and transition programme, creating the supply chain network strategies for some of the world’s leading fast moving consumer goods organisations, managing global supply chains on behalf of large medical aid development programmes, and designing and implementing technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.

What you will be doing

Working in client delivery teams to solve our clients' most challenging logistics and planning issues, contributing to wider supply chain transformation programmes from strategy and design through to implementation.

  • Logistics: supporting network strategy and modelling, logistics outsourcing and commercial negotiations, warehouse and transport operating model design, inventory optimisation, service and cost improvement, digital logistics and sustainable logistics solutions.
  • Planning: supporting planning transformation across demand, supply and production planning, S&OP / IBP, inventory policy setting, planning operating model design, planning systems and data, forecast analytics, capacity planning and performance management.

You’ll be part of a cohort of supply chain experts who are constantly improving their knowledge by staying on the pulse of the latest industry developments. Developing industry knowledge means we’re always on the front-foot to bring the latest, most relevant solutions to our clients.

Your skills and experience

We’re looking for people that have experience within a supply chain and logistics setting – some industry experience is preferable and with 2-3 of the below criteria.

  • Logistics experience across one or more of: network design or optimisation, warehousing, transport, fulfilment, 3PL / 4PL outsourcing, logistics operating model design, cost-to-serve, service improvement, automation or last mile / urban logistics.
  • Planning experience across one or more of: demand planning, supply planning, production planning, S&OP / IBP, inventory policy, capacity planning, forecasting, planning operating model design, planning systems improvement or planning systems implementation.
  • Strong analytical capability, including the ability to structure problems, work confidently with imperfect data, build robust Excel-based analysis or models, interpret operational and financial data, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Experience using supply chain systems, data and digital tools, such as ERP, advanced planning systems, WMS, TMS, reporting / visualisation tools or other planning, logistics or analytics platforms.
  • Ability to contribute to transformation delivery, including current state assessments, process design, operating model design, business cases, implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment and KPI / performance management.
  • Comfort working in multi-disciplinary teams and with stakeholders across supply chain, commercial, finance, operations and technology, including facilitating workshops, synthesising inputs and creating clear client-facing materials.
  • A developing point of view on relevant supply chain themes, such as supply chain resilience, planning capability, inventory optimisation, logistics outsourcing, digital supply chain, AI / analytics, automation, green logistics or supply chain sustainability.
