Our Pharma & Life Sciences practice are looking for an experienced Consultant to join the team. Following exceptional year on year growth at Baringa, we are excited to continue building our Pharma and Life Sciences practice across Europe and the UK. The Pharma and Life Sciences sector is undergoing rapid and transformational change. What you will be doing:

  • Developing strategies and operating models to transform ways of working across clinical development, medical affairs and commercial (at global and local levels)
  • Implementing change in global, cross-functional organisations in a strategic and sustainable way
  • Developing and operating Centres of Excellence and Communities of Practice to cross-fertilise learnings and successes across countries and regions
  • Designing and implementing Quality Management Systems and the associated GCP/GVP processes
  • Optimising product development team ways of working in response to change, i.e. a new strategic direction, changing customer needs, evolving evidence requirements, etc.
  • Developing omnichannel approaches and building the required capabilities for clients to achieve early post-launch impact in their customer engagements
  • Supporting brand teams with launch strategies and operations
  • Advising on data and AI enablement to realise strategy and drive efficiency, translating business and process needs into actionable digital strategy and end-to-end implementation
  • Advising on Patient Engagement strategies and operating models, considering how to measure impact and leverage patient experience data for insight
  • Creating best practice for strategic alliances to be successful whether that be for co-development or post-merger integration

Your skills and experience:

  • Pharmaceutical and life sciences experience through working within the industry or working with pharma and life science clients
  • A track record of taking ownership and delivering results in demanding client-facing environments
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to help us grow the sector
  • An ability to leverage AI to inform strategy, enable operating models and transform ways of working
  • In addition to experience working with pharmaceutical and life science clients, you will have demonstrable consulting skills in one or more of the following: Life Sciences Clinical Development, Medical and/or Commercial functions (e.g. Clinical Ops, Stats, Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Field), Change Management, Technology-enabled process design, Digital, data, analytics and artificial intelligence, Strategy and Operating Model development
