Our Risk & Compliance practice drives the strategic evolution of risk management for our financial services clients. We work collaboratively with our clients to deliver practical, tailored solutions to evolve compliance and risk management into future-focused, growth-driving capability. Our team in London is growing, and we are looking for motivated and curious risk and controls professionals to join our global Risk Advisory team. We have a range of open roles based on your experience.
What you will be doing
- Shape and structure workstreams in complex regulatory change programmes – mobilizing international teams, creating and tracking project plans and leading the delivery of workstreams to deliver tangible outcomes for clients.
- Lead teams to perform gap analysis of current state against regulatory requirements and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Lead program updates and draft high-quality client deliverables.
- Shape future-ready enterprise risk management frameworks, including drafting risk strategy, risk appetite statements and Key Risk Indicators, governance and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the three lines of defence to align risk strategy with business goals, converting complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Lead the analysis of processes and workflows in the risk and compliance functions to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Stay on top of emerging risks and trends to anticipate client problem statements and shape innovative solutions.
- Apply traditional and emerging technologies to modernize risk management processes and risk culture.
- Mentor junior team members; facilitate trainings and provide on-the-job coaching.
Your skills and experience
- Relevant experience in risk management, audit, compliance, or related functions within financial services or fintech companies.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present risk insights clearly based on structured and unstructured data.
- Track record of building trusting relationships in an international environment.
- Practical experience with enterprise risk management frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ISO31000.
- Experience with risk assessment, control testing, setting up and monitoring Key Risk Indicators, risk governance and reporting.
- Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Practical experience with modernizing risk management processes through integration of automation, AI-driven insights and digital tools, including GRC tools.
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
- Professional certifications in risk and controls management is a plus.
- Consulting experience or experience in Big4 is a plus.
