This role will serve as a key component of Barings treasury strategy in the desire to strategically utilize the balance sheet to create enterprise value and support investment team needs. Contribute to the production of materials for senior leadership and help optimize Barings cost and use of capital. The role will partner closely with internal stakeholders, establishing scalable, standardised processes that improve efficiency, governance and consistency across how Barings manages its balance sheet and capital allocation.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, monitor and communicate use of balance sheet limits with relevant investment teams; proactively identify potential opportunities for more efficient uses of capital.Lead operational initiatives including management of credit facilities associated with working capital needs for investment purposes and cash forecasting. Evaluate the current structure of liquidity solutions and help drive new or improved solutions in partnership with relevant internal/external constituents.Assist in the preparation of quarterly materials to senior management on balance sheet activities, capital approvals and performance of deployed capital.Work closely with investment teams to understand capital and balance sheet needs for both current funds as well as future opportunities.
