The Fund series consists of three funds to date, the first fund which raised 300m in 2016 and a second which raised 850m in 2021. Fund 3 launched on 2025 and has committed around 60% of the sponsor seed capital (400m) with final close of third party capital in Q4 2026 / Q1 2027. The RolePortfolio management:Act as an assistant PMManage and prepare quantitative analysis of portfolio and asset business plansCollate and report committed and actual spend against approved acquisition budgetsDevelop and maintain fund models for performance and forecast reporting including fluctuations in shareholder subscriptions, redemptions and distributions and movements in investment allocations and performancePerform frequent portfolio updates, collating data from local teams and JV partners to establish inflows and outflows in portfolios, manage cash across portfolios and ensure compliance with investment guidelinesMeasure performance and understand net asset value calculations.Provide fund and client reporting to internal and external clients, ensuring its accuracy and timely deliveryCo-ordinate with performance and marketing teams in production of materials for client presentations and investor queriesSourcing:Rely on and build existing network to identify market trends and gain insights across European marketsComplement Country Teams to ensure visibility and consistency of message for BREEVA in our target marketsStrategy:Contribute to debates with PM & research teams to set fund strategy based on thematics & relative valueFormulate strategy decks for preferred sectorsWork with Country Teams to define deliverable target allocation parametersTransactions:Working with deal teams early in the process to align on underwriting & deal risksQuestion and drive rigour in the underwriting process and deal reviewInspect assets the fund is acquiringAssess competence of partners to execute business planParticipate in tax & structuring workstreamsNegotiate Joint Venture term sheetsAsset management:Chair bi-weekly asset management meetings with Country TeamsLead critical thought for analysis and recommendations on all key decisionsMonitor and optimise asset and fund level financing strategyOversee hold / sell analysis and disposalsTake ownership of ad hoc projectsFundraising:Prepare strategy & fundraising materialsCompile and present track recordProvide performance updates and portfolio update presentationsOver time work towards more LP facing involvement Requirements 6-9 years’ experience in a real estate organization, real estate private equity fund or real estate division of an investment bankStrong knowledge & experience in analysing and modelling complex deals and financial structuresPan-European transaction experience across all sectors including negotiating and managing joint ventures, SPAs & FAsHard working, high degree of attention to detail and ease with numbersSubstantial level of skill in liaising with a range of stakeholders, using influencing, interpersonal, consultation and relationship building skillsAbility to commercially evaluate financial data, and present conclusions to inform business decisionsHighly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation for stakeholders’ groups at varying levelsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and WordFluency in spoken and written English with additional language skills an advantageWilling to travelHands on asset management / development management experience preferable#LI-JB1Requisite SkillsAdditional SkillsBarings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
