CERU is a vibrant Eastern Mediterranean-inspired restaurant group known for delicious flavours, warm hospitality, and a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere. We are looking for a hands-on, service-driven Assistant Manager who leads from the floor and sets the standard every shift.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, your mission is to protect and deliver exceptional service standards by leading from the front. This is not an office role. You will run a section every shift and be fully competent across all front-of-house positions including waiter, bartender, and food runner. You are expected to master the basics first. We do not promote managers who cannot execute flawless service themselves. You will support the Restaurant Manager in driving performance, maintaining pace, motivating the team, and ensuring every guest receives consistent, high-energy hospitality.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong waiter first, with natural leadership ability
- Confident running busy sections in high-volume service
- Comfortable leading from the floor, not from the side
- Sales-focused and commercially aware
- Calm under pressure and decisive
- Detail-driven and standards-oriented
- Open to feedback and able to coach others
- Professional, reliable
