The Role
The graphic designer will sit centrally, reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager through to the Business Development & Communications Director, based in the St Albans Office. This person will provide an efficient and effective graphic design service to support the activities of the business in terms of marketing and communications. The role will promote the Barhale brand and provide both creative and professional material for both internal and external purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing the business with a wide variety of marketing material for internal and external communications
- Ensure we are keeping up-to-date with current technology and design trends
- Responsible for the brand enhancement and profiling
- Site hoarding and project signage
- Logos for internal campaigns and joint venture material
- Companywide brochures, newsletters, office imagery, branding, presentations
- Promotional materials in support of events and marketing initiatives
- Adverts and graphics for external publications, social media and website
- Create video content for the website and social media channels
- Create animations and motion graphics to enhance digital marketing and internal communications
- Present ideas clearly using engaging visuals
- Edit and adapt animations and videos for use across different platforms
- Input into the prequalification/tender process to ensure a creative presentation of the information is incorporated in the final submission, with the use of visual guidance
About you
Essential
- Able to multitask supporting a number of events and activities simultaneously
- Experience in dealing with internal and external customers
- Expert in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Customer-friendly and professional approach
