The Role
We’re the @one Alliance, a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. As we enter AMP8, our most ambitious period yet, we’ll be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands. We’re passionate about keeping our people safe, happy and thriving which is why we’re strengthening our SHEA (Safety, Health, Environment and Assurance) team with a dedicated Health Safety Wellbeing Advisor. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering impactful projects that improve lives and protect the environment. You’ll work alongside industry leaders in a culture that truly prioritises wellbeing, safety and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide Health Safety Wellbeing (HSW) advice, guidance, coaching and support to Project Teams.
- Build open collaborative environments that drive a culture of wellbeing and safety.
- Conduct HSW site visits which could be inspections, advisory visits or engagement visits.
- Deliver inspiring training sessions from orientation to on-site briefings.
- Measure impact and drive continuous improvement across projects.
- Share best practices and support innovation across the alliance.
Essential:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and Tech IOSH (or higher) membership.
- A valid CSCS Safety Professional card.
- Strong communication and people skills - you’re trusted, respected and supportive.
