The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Operate within the project environment to support the project team in the production, coordination, submission, and signing of Quality Assurance deliverables. Coordinate, monitor and support the project team in the production of Quality deliverables following Project W&SI and Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets. Ensure Quality Assurance activities are comprehensive, robust, and in line with W&SI, appropriately applied to the scalability, complexity, and levels of risk across the programme.

Work with Site Engineers and Site Supervisors, reporting to the Site Manager and the central Quality Assurance team, to coordinate, maintain, record, and register all site quality documentation in compliance with company procedures and contract requirements. Promote the reporting of non‑conformances and drive a continuous improvement culture through lessons learned reviews and shared quality learning events. Cascade the central Quality function reporting and act as the interface between the central quality team and regional teams.

Deliver GIRI training to regional teams; training will be provided. Assist the Assurance, project, and site teams in implementing quality systems across the project. Lead on monitoring quality control on‑site; ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements, deliverable records, closure of non‑conformance and outstanding works, and oversee ITP compliance on live works. Chase test results, close out records, and work with site teams to resolve non‑conformance action plans (NCPs). Advise site teams on quality‑related topics, issue Quality Bulletins and Alerts, and ensure that management controls are followed.

Maintain visibility and traceability of documented evidence and offer guidance to the operational team to improve their understanding of the Quality Management System. Gather information and feedback from Project Teams to enable improvement and promote a positive Quality Culture. Support the business in compliance with the ISO 9001 Standard and contract requirements and champion the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative. Take a proactive role in QA deliverable planning, ensuring all hold points are mapped and communicated, and work closely with the Head of Quality through to commissioning and handover phases.

Qualifications

  • Experience in civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience in a quality coordinator role.
  • Ability to implement quality control.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence site teams and drive a quality culture.

Desirable

  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and audit processes.
  • Experience managing NCRs and QA documentation systems.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
