The Role
A superb opportunity to join our Supply Chain Team.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced individuals, capable of working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
The Supply Chain Coordinator with have a strong focus on supply side management, administration and coordination.
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, candidates will have a meticulous eye for detail and a structured and methodical approach.
Engaging with relevant internal departments to ensure efficiencies are upheld, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships both on and off site.
As a great communicator, with good literacy and numeracy skills, you will have a strong sense of commercial and operational awareness along with excellent administration and analytical skills.
Typical duties and responsibilities will include, effective inventory and stock management, considering variables such as demand forecasts, yields, costs and unexpected changes in supply/logistics.
With strong attention to detail, the Supply Chain Coordinator will provide associated admin support including; accurate data entry and maintenance of stock sheets, KPI's, price lists and market data reports.
Duties & Responsibilities to include, but not restricted to
- Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials whilst delivering company objectives and Team KPI's
- Effectively manage inventory and stock levels at our Sefter & Leythorne sites
- Liaising with all associated internal departments to ensure an efficient process
- Support in sourcing & managing goods as per programmed volume & target costs
- Accurate data entry & management
- Maintaining functioning files; stock sheets, KPI's, price lists, scorecards & market data reports
- Creating purchase orders and processing claims & claims estimates
- Liaising with Finance team to ensure payment invoices & advances are on time for payment
- Cross check invoice prices from suppliers and ensuring correct invoicing
- Support general admin within the team utilising Prophet and MS Office as necessary
- Support daily Supply Chain tasks including: order processing, inbound update, filing & intake schedule
- Assist in different projects & support presentations during supplier visits
- Provide admin cover for the wider team as required for holidays and rotational weekend cover
- Build and maintain external relationships with external stakeholders
- Promote visibility and transparency across supply chain
Requirements
- Required Skills and Experience
- Previous Food Production or FMCG experience - preferred
- Comprehensive command of English, both written and verbal
- Strong administrative and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Good literacy & numeracy skills including Word & Excel
- Understanding of technical requirements & impact on quality - preferred
- Experience in inventory management - preferred
- Sense of Farming, Operational and Commercial awareness - preferred
